Terms & Service

"Terms & Service," often shortened to "ToS," "Terms of Use," or "Terms and Conditions," is a legally binding agreement between a service provider (a website, app, online store, or any entity offering a service) and the user who wishes to use that service. Think of it as the rulebook for using a particular platform or service.

By using the service, the user is implicitly or explicitly agreeing to abide by these terms. This is why you often see "I agree to the Terms of Service" checkboxes when signing up for an account or making a purchase online.
